HR Assistant Dubai Middle East opportunity with White & Case LLP, where the People team is responsible for managing and enhancing all aspects of human resources and employee experience. Our People team oversees talent acquisition, recruiting, onboarding, HR policies, employee relations, compensation, benefits, training, and compliance. As a core member of the Middle East People Team, you will help translate business strategy into talent imperatives that support growth, engaged people, and strong client relationships across the region.

Role Overview

Working across all six Middle East offices, the role holder will provide operational support on day-to-day people matters, coordinate key human resources processes, and support the HR Team in delivering all stages of the employee lifecycle. The role holder may also collaborate with the wider EMEA HR team on global and regional HR projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities – HR Assistant Dubai Middle East

HR Operations

• Maintain People data sources including career trackers, headcount reports and people movement tracker
• Creation and maintenance of personnel files
• Review monthly audit reports and take action where necessary
• Coordinate with HR and Payroll teams for timely payroll and DEWS submissions
• Support assignments and transfers in collaboration with Global Mobility and operations teams
• Manage HR Absence Tracking systems and reporting
• Prepare Leave of Absence schedules and maintain records
• Act as main point of contact for day-to-day HR queries
• Work closely with HR Operations Delivery (HROD) to ensure process accuracy
• Support performance reviews, salary, and bonus processes
• Provide administrative HR support and documentation
  Onboarding
• Manage onboarding process end-to-end ensuring smooth experience for new joiners
• Coordinate with Recruitment, Mobility, and PRO teams for documentation and relocation
• Organize induction programs and onboarding schedules
• Track probation reviews and gather feedback
  Offboarding
• Manage offboarding process ensuring smooth exit experience
• Prepare End of Service schedules and documentation
• Conduct exit interviews and report feedback
  Early Careers and Recruitment
• Manage internships and work experience placements
• Support recruitment activities and screening processes
• Coordinate recruitment events, career fairs, and assessment centres

Qualifications

• Professional services experience; law firm experience advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
• Strong technical skills and ability to learn systems (Workday knowledge is an advantage)
• Self-motivated with strong time management and prioritization skills

• Based in UAE (Dubai)
• Reports to HR Manager, Middle East and Head of HR, Middle East
